Passaic High School’s DECA chapter is going above and beyond to make a difference in the community by organizing a fundraiser in support of the American Cancer Society. As part of their New Jersey State DECA community service project, the students have taken on this initiative to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, patient support, and prevention efforts.
A Mission of Hope
The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a leading organization dedicated to eliminating cancer through groundbreaking research, promoting healthy lifestyles, and providing critical support to those affected by the disease. For DECA, a student organization that prepares young leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in business, finance, and marketing, this project reflects their commitment to making an impact not only in the business world but also in the lives of those around them.
The Passaic High School DECA chapter has embraced this project as an opportunity to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility. By supporting ACS, these students are championing a cause that has touched the lives of countless families in their community and beyond.
Student Leadership at Work
This fundraiser is a testament to the dedication and creativity of the DECA students at Passaic High School. Under the guidance of their advisor and with support from the school and community, they are not only honing their business and organizational skills but also learning the value of service and compassion.
Let’s rally behind these young leaders and show them the power of a community united for a cause. Support Passaic High School DECA as they work to make a lasting impact.
Together, we can help bring hope to those affected by cancer and move closer to a cure.
