Computer Science Pathway
The Computer Science Pathway provides the students an opportunity to be introduced to the broad field of Computer Science. Topics covered in programming include algorithmic thinking, the design process, game and app development, and automation programming. Computer Science is the closest thing to having a Superpower. If you can’t do it yourself, you can program a device to do it for you.
Programming languages learned: Blocky, Python, and Java
Careers: Computer Programmer, Data Analyst, Game Designer, App Developer
Possible Certification/Degree Options: Java Programmer Certification, Computer Science AP Credits and DE credits through PCCC
